Description
With no wiring or setting up, other than lifting the unit onto a table and switching on, the LA90 can be stored until required and be ready for use within seconds. The unit is simply placed on the desk/counter and the member of staff sits behind the unit and speaks, the integral microphone picks up the sound of speech. The hearing aid user sits in front of the unit with their hearing aid set on T and will hear the speech directly through their hearing aid.
The unit can also be used with personal inductive loop listeners.
In the opinion of our evaluation panel, the LA90 portable loop system from Sarabec is more compact and smarter looking than the other desk top systems we supply. Even though it’s smaller we found in our tests that it provides a stronger signal and has a very good frequency response. It has no handle but is light and easy to move. It can also be screwed down to a counter or secured using a Kensington type lock. Battery life is approximately 6 hours from a 4 hour charge but it can be powered from the mains if required.
